Working for the Analytic Solutions Group (ASG) benefited my career with relevant experience in methodology, technology and communication. My first main job function was to construct a multivariate mathematical forecast model for debt-portfolio liquidation. Executives at CBE created multiple opportunities for me to present this model to hedge fund investors and consult heavily on debt purchase bids.
Secondly, I was tasked with building a simulation model for the Noble automated dialing system using data from live agents. Making recommendations from patterns observed while constructing this model, I was able to guide operations with small tweaks to their dialing methodology that translated into tremendous revenue growth.
Finally, my position allowed me to regularly interface with business leaders to present/explain meaningful data and provide recommendations. Working in this capacity, I would consistently meet with my analytics team to brainstorm new and innovative ideas for increasing profit margin, client satisfaction and employee productivity.​

Director Data Science - January 2015 – Present
After leaving CBE, I started my own LLC (Pack Moose) for consulting and freelance projects. Under this umbrella, I partnered up with Bowser Analytics to produce a toolbox for binary options traders, called The Logical Option. It was a combination of this project, and my work on the simulator for CBE's automated dialer that made me first realize my passion for connecting helpful analytics to software with a clean user experience. Working with Stephen from Bowser Analytics, we designed simulation forecast software which optimizes results across various investment strategies in binary options.​
Since then, I have continued using Pack Moose, LLC as a vehicle for providing data science, analytics, ad-hoc software projects, consulting, project management and general help with excel spreadsheets. Some of my past clients include: North Iowa Agronomy Partners, The Accel Group, Global Optimization, Infinii and Custom Lawn.

Greenscape Analytics, Cedar Falls, IA
Cofounder - July 2017 - Present
In July of 2017 two partners and I started an agritech company called Greenscape Analytics. My role here honed my mission to connect data and analytics to the end user via intuitive GUIs. Working with Dr. Michael Prophet, mathematics professor at the University of Northern Iowa, I designed KPIs (key profitability indicators, in this case) to help farmers make decisions on seed purchases. I'm also working on some software tools to help analyze return on variable costs for farm operations.​
In general, my time working at Greenscape is directed toward software and database engineering, with less focus on analytics. However, the more farm data we accumulate, the more in depth our analytics will be and the better we will serve our farmer clientele.
